Aftercare

Following surgery, detailed aftercare instructions are provided to the patient. Care of the implant site is simple, but very important.  It is critical to keep the site clean and free of debris. A soft cleaning brush is provided for this reason. Follow-up visits will be scheduled to ensure proper care is taken.

Your Baha Sound Processor contains very delicate components, so you should handle it with care - and never drop it! Follow these golden rules to keep your Baha Sound Processor safe.

Caring for your sound processor

• The sound processor is not waterproof, so it is important that it be removed prior to bathing, showering or engaging in any water activities.
• Never expose your sound processor to extreme heat or cold.
• To avoid losing your sound processor during physical activity, use the safety line that is provided.
